Home Resource Presents Two Plays by Jenny Beres

Home Resource returns theatre to its store with award-winning playwright Jenny Beres.

Come and enjoy a very unique opportunity to experience two exciting plays under the great direction of Louise Steinspring, talented acting by Sage Hall, Pam Wiley, and Jesse Kozel in the intimacy and comfort of Home Resource.

 

The synopsis of the plays are:

 

Draft (World Première)

While Kelly and David are sorting out their deceased mother's belongings they come across unpublished poetry and other private writings. Horrified by the "terrible" quality of these pieces, David wants nothing to do with his sister's plans to publish the work. Haunted by her mother's ghost- and in much need of a referee- Kelly calls in a spirit medium (much to David's surprise) to settle the matter according to their mother's wishes. What they find is that the deceased have high expectations of their survivors- and that sometimes the answers to death's tough questions lie in the hands of the living.

 

LOST AND FOUND

Lost And Found centers around Karen, a mischievous hotel clerk who presides over the resort's lost and found. Her taste for style and trouble keeps the place running fashionably chaotic- all while she collects chic items for her own pleasure.
